...“Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” Mark 14:61
I couldn't believe my ears. With snowflakes as big as biscuits tumbling softly from the sky, the student asked, "Is that snow?"
Was she joking? How could she question what was so obvious?
But she isn't the only one.
The Bible tells us people doubted or dismissed Jesus as God's Son, even in the midst of His many miracles. How could they not believe? Yet, even with our expanded knowledge and witnessing of miracles now, are we any wiser? During the best of times and the worst of times, we sometimes allow doubt of God's power and might to muddle our mind. Whether taking self credit for what's good or blaming God for what's bad, we err.
Father, may i remember You are the Creator of all things from the precision of orbiting planets to the perfectly formed snowflakes, providing exactly what we need. Let my words and actions reflect my belief in You and Your Son. Jesus is the greatest proof of all of Your love for us. Thank You for the gift of Jesus.
we are loved and chosen by God,
may we live like we BELIEVE it,
veneal
