and the winner is...

You!!

^"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Whether it's the Super Bowl or other sporting event, there isn't a single factor... strength, records, preparedness, health... a team possesses that will guarantee the outcome of the event. Game variables and circumstances constantly change, even during the game.  And when it's all over, there's going to a winner and a loser.

 

But hear this Good News. As believers, with Jesus Christ by our side we are a winner for Life!  And isn't that the most supreme win of all?  May the JOY of this Truth fill your heart today.
