a gentle pat

"For I the Lord your God, hold your right hand. It is I who say to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.'" Isaiah 41:13

It's happening.  The school year is winding down, emotions are revving up.  There's a combustible mixture of uncontrollable excitement with sheer exhaustion in the air.  

Sometimes in the midst of finalizing, with all its turmoil and demands, what is needed most is a gentle pat of compassion from another to soothe a weary soul.

Could you use one? Can you give one?  Praying the answer is as close as your hand... or a friend's hand. 

And so thankful our Father always has hold of our other hand.
