WTLB... worship

Have you ever had a day (week, month, year) where your emotions refused to cooperate with your intent/desire to be thankful, joyful, valiant, and victorious in all things?
When the load you carry seems much too heavy for your heart, your head, or your shoulders?  If we're breathing, we have all experienced such a time.  Perhaps that time is now.

The good news is that it does not have to last or linger. We do not have to dwell in despondency or cave in to heaviness, no matter our circumstances.  The way out of "woe" is WORSHIP!

Psalm 100:2-5 (NIV) reminds us to "Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."

Karen Seddon, of Christian Educators Association International, shares "Around the Word in 180 Days," a daily devotion for educators in which she offers the "ABC Prayer of Adoration," praising God for His attributes and blessings by naming one for each letter of the alphabet.
Try listening to her podcast each morning on the way to work and watch your woe turn to worship!

May WORSHIP be your Word to Live By every day of the year!

Blessings,
