There are 2 things i hate... running late and being hungry. But i found myself in such a situation last week. Like you, i have a morning routine, and when it gets out of sorts so do i. Forced to leave my house without coffee, breakfast AND lunch, i was feeling prickly. But when my coworker walked in the door at school, her arms were full. Not only did she have a tall cup of special coffee for me... but my favorite muffin AND hot donuts. Was she a mind reader?? No, just her normal kind self.
Friends, never, never, NEVER underestimate an act of kindness... small or large. You have no idea what impact your thoughtfulness might have... and who it might saved from being in the presence of an out-of-sorts person.
Spread the smile of God today. Your love has the power to put out a fire of grumpiness and restore the JOY of the Lord in a friend, family, coworker, foe or even a stranger.
