"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness." Matthew 6:22-23
Have you found wearing a mask reduces talking, interaction with others and even the desire to smile? While some of the issues of a covered mouth are fine with me, particularly safety issues, i really miss seeing the smiles.
Yet, even through these tough times, we can still spot safe smiles. How, you might ask? If we take the time and kind interest to search the eyes and heart of those in our presence, smiles through their eyes can evolve. And for now, that is tremendous comfort for me. How about you?
May we remember, we are never fully dressed without a smile... even while wearing a mask. People will notice.
